Laramie

FYI Laramie is the 4th most populated city in Wyoming with 31,000 inhabitants, behind Cheyenne, Casper and Gillette. The entire state has less than 600,000 people. Also, Laramie is home to Wyoming’s only university, the University of Wyoming.

Everyone we go through Laramie we eat at Lovejoy’s. They are famous for their Sunshine Crunch (a Monte Cristo sandwich they fancify). I got the Buffalo Mac and cheese and it did not disappoint.
The Laramie fire dept kept the kids cool, though it was a lovely 72 degrees compared to the 80+s back home.
We spent a few hours at their Fourth of July festival, with vendors and food trucks and music.
